Keepwarm Studio was born from a love of beautiful flowers, the natural world & a passion for art.

Cristy Vercoe is a Sydney-based artist and designer who works primarily in watercolour and acrylic. Throughout her career, she has explored a wide range of creative avenues, including murals, bespoke invitations, business logos, and elaborate costume design for children’s events.

In 2021, during the global lockdown, Cristy founded Keepwarm Studio as a platform to share her personal artwork. The studio’s name comes from a cherished phrase she shared with her husband during dating days instead of goodbye, they’d tell each “keepwarm” reflecting the warmth and care that inspire her work.

Cristy draws her inspiration from nature, landscapes, travel, and the beauty of everyday life, creating pieces that are visually engaging and evoke a sense of joy and connection. Her work blends technical skill with an emotive sensibility, resulting in art that brightens spaces and invites viewers to pause and appreciate the world around them.

Sustainability

I’m dedicated to eco-friendly art practices, using recycled or FSC-certified paper for my artwork, sketchbooks, and backing boards to help reduce waste.

By planning ahead and shopping locally for art and business supplies, I lower my carbon footprint. I also offer prints on demand to avoid overproduction. I ensure proper disposal of paints and minimize plastic use by opting for recyclable or biodegradable materials, and I always try to reuse packaging for personal and business purposes.
